Today, I made my daughter chicken noodle soup. It took about fifteen minutes.
1 Peeled and sliced carrot
1 celery stalk cut lengthwise and chopped
1/4 onion sliced
2-3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp “Better than Bouillon” chicken paste.
1/2 cup cooked chicken
2.5-3 cups water.
1 cup Cooked alphabet pasta (or whatever kind you want).
Melt butter in a saucepan (large enough to contain all the ingredients)
Add your chopped vegetables and sauté them on medium heat until the onion is translucent.
Add cooked chicken (leftover baked chicken or one of those rotisserie things). Continue to stir with the heat for about a minute.
Add the water and Bouillon paste.
Increase the heat and stir until a soft boil occurs.
Add cooked pasta
Salt and pepper to taste
Making you own quick soups is much better than anything you can buy in a store.
You don’t need to make mass quantities either.
